UFC 260 Miocic vs Ngannou 2 live

Francis Ngannou becomes the first UFC heavyweight champion from Africa.


After the restart Ngannou lands bomb after bomb on Miocic for the knockout. We have a new UFC heavyweight champion folks!


Ngannou lands a couple early on Miocic, who remains standing. Ngannou’s takedown defence is tested sorely in the first but holds up well against the champion. Likely his round on the judge’s scorecards.


Bruce Buffer is introducing our main event. Ngannou weighed in heavier and has a 3 inch reach advantage over the champion Miocic.


Our heavyweight main event is up next folks. Ngannou will be hoping to avenge his earlier loss to Miocic and set his sights on UFC championship gold.


Another barnstormer of a first round with both fighters landing and hurting each other. Woodley is out on his feet but still swinging for the fences. Luque swarms a downed Woodley with nowhere to go against the cage and secures the submission win. Woodley looks unsteady on his feet still while awaiting the official decision.

Tyron Woodley faces Vicente Luque in our first co-main event of the evening. Former welterweight champion Woodley has lost his last 15 rounds inside the Octagon.


It seemed inevitable at times, though tough, Almeida falls to O’Malley’s sublime striking offence late in the third.

Another high-output round for O’Malley, who seems to be imposing his game plan on Almeida.


An electric first round for O’Malley. Staying at range he largely managed to frustrate Almeida’s striking and pick his shots. O’Malley seemed to sense he had in fact finished his opponent. Walking off following a knockdown the presumed referee stoppage was not forthcoming.


‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley looking to bounce back from his first career loss by taking on Thomas Almeida next in the Bantamweight division. There’s a lot of hype around this return.


Miranda Maverick taking what was a clear decision win in the end.

Maverick has had the significant strike advantage throughout, though Robertson quickly threatened a submission in the third. Looks like we’re going to the judges again folks.


Gillian Robertson and Miranda Maverick keep the action going on the main card in the women’s flyweight division. Maverick will be looking to continue to improve her record after imposing a doctor’s stoppage on her previous opponent.


A quick, stunning knockout in the first!


Jamie Mullarkey finishes it early! A devastating knockout 46 seconds into the first round. Another City Kickboxing alumnus, Mullarkey provides us with a great start to the main card sure to light a fire under proceedings.

A quick submission victory for Menifield in the first round and the first finish of the night!

Alonzo Menifield and Fabio Cherant wrap up the prelims tonight with this fight in the light heavyweight division.


We’re going to the judges’ scorecards yet again folks, though Nurmagomedov looked to be in control throughout. It’s an unsurprising 30-27 on all judges’ cards for the Dagestani.

Both men throwing leather throughout, but it’s the grappler Nurmagomedov who looks to be the more comfortable and accurate on the feet.

Oleksiejczuk gets his hand raised, taking a split decision in another narrow matchup

Modestas Bukauskas and Michal Oleksiejczuk are up next in the light heavyweight division. Bukauskas looking to get back on track after a first-round knockout in his last fight.


This one’s going to the judges folks. Both men gave it as good as they got, but were unable to finish it within the distance. Morales get his hand raised in a close-as-nails opener.

Shane Young and Omar Morales kick things off in featherweight division on the main prelims. Young trains with champions in Adesanya and Volkanovsi in City Kickboxing in Auckland New Zealand so his calibre of training parter has got be high!
