Top 8 Anticipating Actions Films 2021

In 2020, we all had a rough year, and the film industry was not an exception. Fortunately, movie lovers will anticipate these eight action films in 2021.

1. Mission Impossible 7 & 8:  Tom Cruise’s flagship series continues with Mission Impossible 7. Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 are being developed by Paramount Pictures and will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie once again. Mission: Impossible 7 was to be launched July 23, 2021 but due to the pandemic it has now been forced to launched on November 19th, 2021, while Mission: Impossible 8 on November 4th, 2022.

2. Matrix 4: The most famous action franchise, The Matrix, will have a fourth film. Lana Wachowski, who produced, co-directed, and co-wrote the previous three films, plans to officially release The Matrix 4 on December 22, 2021.Village Roadshow Pictures, Wachowskis Productions, and Silver Pictures will collaborate on Matrix 4, which will be released by Warner Bros. Neo is revived nearly 20 years after the last installment, with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively.

3. Fast and Furious 9: This famous action film, also known as F9, is a sequel to the 2017 film known as The Fate of the Furious. It was scheduled to be released in May 28th 2021 but was postponed several times and is now set to be released on June 25th, 2021. In this movie Dom Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, will be matched up against John Cena’s killer, and he’ll be joined by a handful of series regulars, including Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson.

4. The King’s man: The King’s man is not a sequel to the king’s man movie series but rather a prequel. Sadly Colin Firth and Taron Egerton will not be featured in this prequel. The film will centre more on the early century of the Kingsman organization. It is directed by Matthew Vaughn and also co-produced with David Reid and Adam Bohling will also be released on December 22, 2021 which is the same date with The Matrix.

5. No Time to Die: The film will feature a new agent, played by Lashana Lynch, the first-ever female 007, and it will be the last time we see Daniel Craig don Bond’s popular tuxedo. It will be released on the 30th of September 2021 in the United Kingdom, and launched on the 8th of October in the United States.

6. Mortal Kombat: Warner Bros produced this film, which is based on the classic Mortal Kombat fighting game series. It will transport us to the most notorious and deadly martial arts competition in history, making you cry out, “FINISH HIM!” with nostalgia. The film was supposed to be released on March 5th, 2021, but it was pushed back to April 23rd, 2021.

7. Venom: Let There be Carnage; This film is based on the Marvel comics character Venom, and it will be released by Sony Pictures. It will be a sequel to Venom 2018. The title was revealed in April 2020, with a release date of October 2020 but due to the pandemic it has been delayed to 17th of September 2021 and now pushed a week later to hopefully September 24th 2021.

8. Dune: This film incorporates elements of action, fantasy, adventure, and science fiction. The film is based on Frank Herbert’s novel of the same name.. Warner Bros. is planning to release the film on October 1, 2021.
