What inspired your passion for make-up? I have always been in love with anything beauty and my passion for make-up is as a result of that because it enhances one’s beauty.
Tell me about your Journey as a make-up artist. I started make-up in 2015, I went for a professional make-up class with Moanyallure and kicked off officially in 2016. in 2017 I attended a makeup masterclass with Bibyonce and I have been building up myself and striving to do better than I did yesterday.
Each day I try so hard to improve in my skills and I am grateful for the growth so far, each day comes with its own blessings and I am the official makeup artist for the Nigeria queen pageant and I have also worked with other reputable brands and still looking forward to go for enhancement on my skills.
What challenges have you faced in your profession? my journey as a makeup artist so far came with good and bad experiences, I remember when I had to beg for clients even when the offer was lower than the work I was putting in, but over time I started building myself and my brand from scratch and with the grace of God and the determination in striving to do better, my brand keeps growing.
Who inspires you? my Dad is my number one role model (smiling). I’m inspired when I see, read/know people in the world that have been through a lot yet come out strong, this makes me strive to do better.
my advice to the youth is for them to pursue whatever skill that works for them, be focused in achieving the desired goal and always be ready to learn new things as long as it will be beneficial to them and the society at large,Sandra Amadi
