“ To be honest, my heart was always in media because I actually studied Journalism, business, and International Relations.” But isn’t it interesting how she initially started out in an investment firm that subsequently led her to the Nigerian entertainment realm?

Who would have thought that her seemingly seamless delivery wasn’t a walk in the park? “ TV anchoring was my dream job, but I soon realized that it takes so much work to work on the news” This proves beyond reasonable doubt that she’s a bag of talent to have made ease out of complexities.

But of course, the critics always have a field day. “ They came for me a lot”, she reminisced. There was no room for subpar performance, and she had to bring her A-game, or she got sucked into the angry waves of the internet mob.

How does she keep her personal brand oh-so-pristine and polished? She has the perfect response: “ Putting your head down and doing the work gives people an interesting story to tell about you.”

Being multitalented doesn’t equate to running in circles. “If I could do something differently, I wouldn’t have tried to do a lot of things at a go, but that’s just who I am”. So, in essence, think your talents through before starting anything and focus on sustainability.

A stunning woman like her, many would naturally assume that Idia has had her share of the “ fine girl privilege,” but Idia doesn’t give a hoot about stereotypes. She just puts in the work, stays true to her craft, and keeps it moving. Terrific, don’t you think?

“I get excited by competition,” she says. Seriously? Where most celebrities are threatened by competition, Idia gets a dopamine boost from the word! “ My biggest thing has always been a parable of talents.”

She reckons that talents are meant to be fully utilised, and we believe her ideologies are truly reflected in her work. I mean, who combines acting, modelling, and TV hosting? Only Idia Aisien!! And this is why her flame keeps burning bright.

The first step is being honest about the path you want to take. If you are honest about that path, then you will know if you are supposed to work here or there.

But she has a word of advice: Being multitalented doesn’t equate to running in circles. “ If I could do something differently, I wouldn’t have tried to do a lot of things at a go, but that’s just who I am”. So, in essence, think your talents through before starting anything and focus on sustainability.

She muses, “ The first step is being honest about the path you want to take. ” If you are honest about that path, then you will know if you are supposed to work here or there.”
