Here is the thing,
Everyone is obsessed with who Benedict is going to fall in love with. And yeah, I get it. The romance is the whole point. But can we pause for a second and talk about the real MVP of every Bridgerton season? The music.
I am still not over that string quartet version of “Wildest Dreams” from season one. Or when they turned “Dancing On My Own” into a ballroom banger. It is ridiculous how well it works. And honestly? Season 4 might blow all of them out of the water.

Why I am so excited about this,
Because Benedict is the artistic brother. He paints. He feels things deeply. He does not fit in. So the music choices for his season cannot just be random pop hits. They have to mean something. They need to feel a little moody, a little desperate, a little beautiful and broken at the same time.
I have been thinking about what songs would actually work. And here are a few I would lose my mind over.
Imagine a slow, haunting cover of “Enchanted” by Taylor Swift. But not the happy version. The sad one. Like a single cello playing it while Benedict realizes he cannot be with the person he loves. Devastating. I would cry immediately.
Or picture this. Sophie, his love interest, walking into a ballroom for the first time. Everyone is staring. And a harpsichord starts playing “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey. You just feel her fear and her hope at the same time. No dialogue needed.
And for the big party scene? They have to do “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd. Full orchestra. Loud and chaotic. You would not be able to sit still. That is the kind of energy Bridgerton does so well.

But here is what I actually love about this,
The show never treats music like background noise. The songs are there to tell you how to feel. A pop cover makes a hundred year old ballroom feel like it is happening right now. A sad remix hits you in the chest before anyone even says a word. And after every season, fans spend days making playlists and arguing about which cover was the best. That is part of the fun.
So yeah,
I will watch season 4 for the drama and the costumes and the inevitable staircase scene that makes me yell at my TV. But what I am really waiting for is that moment when a song I know by heart starts playing. And suddenly it sounds completely new. And completely heartbreaking.
That is the Bridgerton magic. And I am already ready for it.
What song would you want to hear? Because I have a feeling the show is about to surprise all of us.
