Celebrity is a condition of fame and broad public recognition of a person or group as a result of the attention given to them by mass media. It usually implies a favorable public image, as opposed to the neutrals ‘famous’ or ‘notable’ or the negatives ‘infamous’ and ‘notorious’.
Have you ever wondered what it will be like living in the world of the celebrities? Lol I imagine it
all the time! The popularity, the respect, the fame, the money (which is actually the least of my fancy) and the joy they derive in doing what they do (my major attraction to them).
Their lives always appear so perfect to us and we feel they have no skeletons in their cupboards or there’s no way they are also faced with the issues of life that hit us daily.
Their world is basically going from the work they do, to the red carpets and to their comfortable homes.
We read stories about them through the media; either good or bad and we only get to see them on screens (phone, television, billboard etc.) What an amazing life you’ll think.
They post pictures and in almost all pictures, the designer of the dress is mentioned, the makeup artists is recognized, the shoe maker, the bag designer, the hair dresser and so many other people that contributed to their good look for just a day spent at the cinema or a day spent at a friend’s place. We crave to be in their shoes!
They become small gods that we admire and worship. We follow them on all social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, facebook and even like and comment on all their posts.
They become small gods that we use to determine our lives. They become the ruler through which we measure our lives.
We go as far as picking our role models from them and decide to idolize them.

This is true. It’s really not easy keeping up with fame, especially in the world we are in today. It can impact us positively or drain us completely. Good work
