A lot of individuals know few things about being in a boarding school or have an idea about it. Well, boarding school is a place that has existed for centuries till present and still moving in strong. This audio is a program where two international students share their experiences and opinions about their boarding school in Nigeria. A boarding school is described as a place where students (kids) come together to learn and attain a high level of academic comprehension, as well as to learn how to be independent and have a strong sense of self. This environment is for students who reside on campus rather than attending a day school.
According to statistics, a significant number of African parents believe that boarding schools are the greatest location for their children to learn how to be independent and spiritual, as well as build interpersonal skills, languages, and be physically fit through participation in sporting activities.
According to an extensive study, boarding house students are mostly religiously impacted, and boarding school rules and regulations differ in terms of flexibility and teaching style. There are lots of advantages and disadvantages of being a boarding student. One of the benefits is the standard of living; pupils are able to learn how to live independently which prepares them for the future ahead of them. A disadvantage is homesickness; because they are still young and living in a new environment with new sets of people with whom they are yet to be comfortable with, such person is likely to miss what he or she usually do when they are at home in their familiar surroundings.
