A brief interview with Precious Ovie Odumor, a Thespian from Delta state, Nigeria. He is the founder of Phresh media, located in Lagos state, Nigeria.
Hi Precious, thanks for granting this interview. What school did you Graduate from? Thanks, Helen, I am a graduate of Delta state university
(DELSU), Nigeria.
What is Phresh media about? it’s a media house that deals mostly on entertainment segments such as – movie productions, video editing and renting of equipment.
How did Phresh media come about? Phresh_media Tv was formed from Sir phresh concept, which was my production name from my university days as a Thespian student. I just tried to modernize the name after school when it started going global.
Expatiate more on the term ‘Global‘. I said global because presently, we are collaborating with motion pictures international film festival (MOPIFF).
What’s MOPIFF about?
MOPIFF is a touring film festival set to embrace diverse cultures around the world. The festival is designed to be held in different countries around the world each year, the maiden edition was held in one of the fastest growing cities in Africa, Lagos Nigeria at Clementine Cinemas Lekki Lagos on the 29th to 31st August 2018. MOPIFF accepts all genres of films from filmmakers across the world. Phresh_media is the official and presently the only media house to cover the event both locally and internationally.
What Inspired Phresh media? I will say ‘society’. With the daily occurrence of events that happen around us daily, I decided to create a platform to act as a voice of the people by treating issues that affect us.
what is your latest project right now? My latest project is ‘Barbershop’ and some episodes have been posted on it already.
