A garda investigation has been launched after a poisoning incident was reported at Trinity College Dublin. A substance was allegedly found by a female student who shares off-campus accommodation with a male. The student is accused of putting bleach in a coffee machine used by his housemate.
TCD refused to comment on the incident as it did not occur on-campus. However, Trinity’s Student Union President, Laura Beston, assures that all appropriate action is being taken and support is being provided to the students involved.
