Marina Lambrini Diamandis, better known by her stage name “Marina and the Diamonds”, is a Welsh singer/songwriter.

Three years since her last studio album “Electra Heart” was realised, Marina has released her third studio album, “FROOT.”

Marina describes herself as “an indie artist with pop goals”. This album features everything from sparkling ballroom ballads to up tempo pop/rock tracks.

The album was originally scheduled to be released on the 3rd of April 2015, although it was released early on the 13th of March 2015 due to unauthorised Internet leaks. Marina wrote all twelve songs on the album.

The “Froot of the Month” campaign saw six songs (“Froot”, “Happy”, “Immortal”, “I’m a Ruin”, “Forget” and “Gold”) released on a monthly basis in anticipation of the record. They are also official singles from the record. Froot will be further promoted by the international Neon Nature Tour, which began in March 2015.

The album features clever song writing, catchy melodies and is definitely worth a listen.
