In this era of social consciousness; how can we stay sane, this makes me ask “Do you know who you are” all we know about yourself is through what someone else tells you. Many people are going through mental health issues with depression been at the topmost; and there are many factors that could lead to depression, it could be the pressure at work, from family, friends and intimate relationships with a Narcissist.

The word “narcissism” is an excessive interest in or admiration of oneself and one’s physical appearance; psychologically it means the self-centred arising from failure to distinguish the self from external objects, either in every young baby or as feature of mental disorder.
Having recently migrated, I found out that depression is not just common in my country but also becoming a universal thing but also for mental health awareness in narcissistic relationships. There’s also a growing sense that narcissism is on the rise around the world, especially among young people, but psychological research does not support that notion which is why I will like to explore this topic.

However, a lot of recent research has been going on about “narcissist” also a lot of books have been written one of which is by the renowned psychologist Dr. Ramani Durvasula “Should I Stay or Should I Go” (surviving a relationship with a Narcissist).
Here is a radio documentary on peoples experience with narcissist….
