Leaving home and traveling to study in a new country can be an overwhelming and stressful experience, whether an individual moves to a country with the same first language or not, the process of comprehending the new culture can be a turmoil.
Culture shock describes the impact of moving from a familiar culture to one that is unfamiliar. This includes separation from family, friends, colleagues, and the shock of learning the culture of a new country and meeting lots of new people.
