Talk show host, Wendy Williams took to Twitter to tell followers that Britney Spears will finally have her day in court on June 23rd.
Williams, who has been following the #freebritney campaign closely also housed an open discussion on her talk show, The Wendy Williams show and managed to secure an interview with Spears boyfriend.
According to Page Six, Spears is ready to speak out about the conservatorship with her father. This will be the first time in history that Spears will stand before the court. The Guardian have said that Spears has been in the conservatorship since 2008 and in the past has rarely taken part in hearings.
The conservatorship with her father began as a result of her struggles with mental health, according to the BBC, however fans and many celebrities like Wendy Williams believe that there could be foul play at the hands of Spears father who has full control over her finances and many aspects of her life, including her children.
