Let’s admit it: We weren’t completely devastated to learn that campuses are closed for the rest of the week. But after a few hours, the comfort of your home can become quite boring. And it is way too cold to go outside! Here are a few activities for you to spend the free time right.

1. Organize your college stuff
Even though the semester is only a few weeks old, you probably already have tons of papers lying on your desk. Take some time to organize your files and start the next week on a good note.
2. Call that one relative
Haven’t talked to your grandmother for a while or want to know what your little brother is up to? It is hard to keep up with your relatives in all the stress. Now is the perfect time to do so. Luckily, phone service is still working. Sit down and ask them about their job, health and private life. They will greatly appreciate it.
3. Try some warm cocktails
It is hard to get your standard groceries right now. Stores are empty and a slice of bread feels like pure luxury. But I’m sure you still have a few cans of Guinness in the fridge, right? Stay warm and try something new like this warm Vintage Coffee Cocktail.
4. Sort out your closet
We all have a few outfits that live a lonely existence at the back of our closet. Take an hour to sort these out. Maybe someone else will appreciate them. Enable Ireland sells your used clothing and puts all the profits into disability services. Find your closest donation bank.
Another Plus: You have some more space for new outfits.
5. Have a Spa day
We usually don’t have time for long beauty treatments or hours in the bathtub. Now you have many hours to yourself. And doesn’t the hot water feel twice as good when it’s cold outside?
After all, be sure to enjoy the free time, it will be over sooner than you think. What are your plans for the next days? Let me know in the comments.
