The Netflix shows that have kept people entertained during the lock-down.

Netflix has got lots of amazing shows to keep the viewer entertained in 2020. Notwithstanding, 2020 is the year the world is experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic which has led to the lockdown of most of the countries in the world. However, as everyone is required to stay at home, Netflix has not stopped entertaining people with various interesting shows that have got people talking and also helping them ease the boredom that comes with being stuck at home.

Here is a list of shows Netflix featured to get viewers glued on their screen and talking even creating communities where people get to talk about their characters, joke, create memes, and get entertained. The list goes in no particular order;

  • Love is Blind: This is a dating show (experiment) that was created to prove people can fall in love in an unconventional way whereby they go on a blind date where they don’t get to see each other in pods, fall in love with the personality of who they have been interacting with and propose even before they get to see what the other person looks like. The show was released in February 2020 and it featured 30 Atlanta singles. This experiment came with lots of laughter, tears, drama, love, and fights.

  • Ozark: This is one of Netflix’s most popular shows right now. it is an American crime series that is on its third season. The show tells a Story about a Money-launderer whose deal went wrong and he has to pay a huge debt he owed a Mexican Cartel in other to keep his family safe. If you are a crime movie lover, see this one because it would give you that thrill you like in such movies.
  • Tiger King: This is a documentary on an American Private zoo owner Joe Exotic who keeps wild cats, and has a controversial life that involved going to jail, being a polygamist, and an entertainer who has also run for office. The documentary was released in March 2020.

  • The Pharmacist: This is another American Crime documentary. The story is about how a New Orleans Pharmacist who was trying to identify his son’s killers and in the process, he gets to discover and expose a criminal group at New Orleans.

 

  • Money Heist(La Casa de Papel): This is a Spanish crime drama that was initially released in 2017 but the season 4 was released in 2020 and it has got every glued to their screen and lots of community has been created where people share memes and joke about their favorite part of the show.
