Also known as the Gateway to European Cascades, Chamonix or Chamonix-Mont Blanc is a commune in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. Europe’s highest cable car outsets from here escalating to 12,605 feet (3,842 meters) in order to reach Aiguille du Midi.

5. Berchtesgaden National Park, Germany

This location attracts a lot of hikers every year as it is the perfect place to go for a hike as it has high mountain peaks and steep rock faces. One would feel content while looking at the mountain sceneries.
