The National Library of Ireland has issued a call to the Irish public to submit sites they feel represent modern Ireland.  “Remembering  1916, Recording 2016” is their largest project to date, which will see the most voted for websites archived and available for free.

There are two categories to choose from; “What website best remembers the events of 1916?” and
“What website best records Irish life in 2016?”

The top five websites nominated in both categories will be announced in December 2016 and will be archived and made available through the National Library’s Web Archive.

Sites  can be about their own community, issues in Ireland this year, politics, culture and of course you can nominate your own site.

The survey has been running since earlier this month and will finish on 28 November, so now is the final chance to get your opinions in and have your say here.
