
Radish Cake is one of the traditional Chinese food on Chinese New Year in Hong Kong.
It is not a difficult dish to make, let’s have a look at the baking process.
Preparation time: 45 minutes to 1 hour
Ingredients:
Fresh Moli

Chinese Sausages

Chinese Mushrooms

Dried Shrimps

Dried Scallops (Optional)

Rice Flour

Wheat Flour (Optional, it can be replaced by corn flour)
Steps:
Shred the moli into fine strips


Dice and pan fry the Chinese sausages, mushrooms, shrimps and scallops

Boil the moli with water or chicken soup until it soft

Add the flour mixture into the boiled moli strips until the texture looks sticky

Add the fried ingredients into the sticky moli strips and stir it until the ingredients mix evenly

Put it into a pot or container then steam it for 30 to 45 minutes (depends on the size of the container)
