There is a book I read recently written by a Japanese author, 近藤誠. He is a doctor, and the book is about cancer. His book concluded that there are not any treatments needed in curing the cancer. The following are some points gathered from his book as to why treatments are not essential. (The information below are only extracted from the content of the book, for further medical information please consult your doctor.)

1. Cancer treatment is more terrifying than cancer.

People diagnosed with cancer pass away much quicker after having cancer treatment. It is because the treatments damage the body. Moreover, if the patient has no symptoms of pain, nausea or difficulties in taking food, that cancer is classified pseudo cancer.

2. If the cancer is not a pseudo cancer, there is nothing you can do even it diagnosed at “stage I”.

It is because your fate has been decided since the birth of the first cancer stem cell.

3. Trauma is caused by surgery.

Our body is weakened after surgery, and it can be also easily infected. The side effects could affect  your whole life. In the worst  cases, the patient dies in the surgery. There is a theory that cancer cells will spread widely if any surgery is done. It somehow makes sense, as the wound will cause the cancer cells to break into the normal cells more easily when the body is weakened.

4. Chemotherapy is a poison.

In medical treatment, only Leukemia, Malignant lymphoma, Testicular cancer and Uterine choriocarcinoma can be cured by chemotherapy. And there are lots of side effects after chemotherapy.

5. The life expectance for 90% of the hosts are the same, regardless of whether he or she have  any treatments.

The real cancer cannot be cured by our technology. Cancers cured by treatments are mostly pseudo cancer.

6. Wait and see what happens.

If you are diagnosed with cancer, it could be better to wait and observe your body, if you don’t feel pain. But if you are looking for treatment, please double check that the doctor made the correct diagnosis.

7. Even the surgery have been done successfully, it does not mean the cancer stem cells are long gone.

The cancer cells will grow again if the stem cells have implanted into yourbody.

8. Beware of the “Advance” technology.

The technology could be only in the testing stage.

9. Body check.

Body  check  will  be  done  by  x-ray  technology  from  all  angles.  But  the radiation  emitted  by  CT  examination  is  200  to  300  times  of  normal  x-ray technology. The radiation dose is high enough to induce the mutation of normalbody cells.

10. Reinforce the body defense is more likely to be useless.

Our body’s defence system is  used to fight  against  the pathogens.  The cancer cells were used to a part of our body, our immune system will not be able to identify those as enemies.

Last but not least,  from his  book,  he also suggested that the nowadays technology has not much observable positive results on curing the cancer or lengthen life expectancy. He suggested that public should keep up with a good and health life styles and moods in order to away from the diseases. It rose up great amount of debate in Japanese society. I do agree that it may not be a widely accepted theory for general public, but it could lead us to think more positively towards our life and especially when we got sick.

The following is a documentary that have a bit relationship with this book. Click play to have a look what people from other country think about “cancer”.
