2. Impulse by Ellen Hopkins: Impulse is a story that follows the lives of three psych patients and their journey to getting better. Ellen Hopkins is a different type of author who uses poetry in her books. It is unusually brilliant and keeps your full attention till the very last word. The story is intense in parts but will stick with you long after you put it down.
3. Room by Emma Donoghue: Emma Donoghue is an extremely talented writer. This book is narrated by a 5 year old. In Room she transports you into a world that only exists in this one room, it pulls you in until you yourself start to question your surroundings and who you are. This book will change the way you look at the world completely, in a good way of course.
